Rainer Rehak studied computer science and philosophy in Berlin and Hong Kong. Since then he works, researches and teaches in the fields of computer science & society, data protection and data security. He is also keenly interested in the fields of artificial intelligence, transhumanism and political informatics, in particular governent hacking. He is involved in the Forum InformatikerInnen für Frieden und gesellschaftliche Verantwortung (FIfF – Computer Professionals for Peace and Social Responsibility), in the Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI – Society for Computer Science) and in Amnesty International.

Rainer Rehak studierte begeistert Informatik und Philosophie in Berlin und Hongkong. Seitdem arbeitet, forscht und lehrt er in den Themenbereichen Informatik & Gesellschaft, Datenschutz sowie Datensicherheit. Reges Interesse hegt er außerdem für die Felder künstlichen Intelligenz, Transhumanismus und politische Informatik, insbesondere staatliches Hacking. Er ist aktiv beim Forum InformatikerInnen für Frieden und gesellschaftliche Verantwortung, bei der Gesellschaft für Informatik und bei Amnesty International.
