Here be dragons

Lorenz

Scientist...mostly harmless.

Lorenz grew up and studied physics in Regensburg. The past 4 years he spent as a researcher at the coldest place in the universe: Helsinki University of Technology's famous Low Temperature Laboratory. There he studied fundamentals of nano carbon electronics and, together with NOKIA, their application in future electronic devices. Currently he is back in southern Germany at the University of Ulm, where he is working on developing techniques for novel sub-atomic electron microscopy. He co-authored a foresight study on key technology development until 2025 that was published as a book in October 2009 by SITRA. Lorenz has been a member of the Chaos Computer Club since 2006. He has already previously been a speaker at the Chaos Communication Camp 2007.
