Version Mildenberg
Speaker: Friedemann Reinhard

Friedemann is heading an Emmy Noether research group at the Technical University of Munich (http://tinyurl.com/reinhardlab). The group mainly works on on quantum sensing, in particular magnetic resonance spectroscopy of single molecules. Friedemann studied physics and obtained a PhD in the field of atomic clocks. Part of his work aims at linking science to real life. He is the inventor of quantum-minigolf, a virtual-reality computer game to visualize quantum mechanics. Very recently, his lab put forward Wi-Fi holography, a holographic technique to image the stray radiation of wireless devices.
