Version Mildenberg
Speaker: Katja Bigge (seyru)

I am a PhD student of environmental physics in Heidelberg (Institute of Environmental Physics).
My research is in atmospheric chemistry and involves operating instruments on the ground and on a research plane. The scientific community sees the effects of climate change everywhere, but the basic research is done - the problems are roughly known. What happens now is out of our hands and in the hands of politicians and the world's people. Yet, misconceptions and indifference are common. I want to help and share what I and the community have learned so more people can be empowered to influence the future.
