He's co-founder of GFF (https://freiheitsrechte.org), an NGO that protects civil rights by bringing strategic law suits, e.g. against excessive surveillance by secret agencies. Ulf has been advocating civil rights for over ten years, e.g. as a blogger with netzpolitik.org and as an active member of Digitale Gesellschaft e. V and the CCC.
