He works on topics like the data retention directive and internet filters and he makes good use of the FoIA-provisions to force the government to be more transparent on relevant topics. Prior to his engagement at Bits of Freedom, he worked as a system administrator with a number of small internet providers and setup a non-profit foundation fighting spam originating from the Netherlands.
