Lars Weiler

Pylon is one of the many activists from the CCC in Cologne. Although he founded the CCC in Düsseldorf, he later changed his homebase. For instance, he participated in organising the CCC demonstration against internet censorship in Düsseldorf, helps out at the youth project U23 in Cologne and manages the Infodesk at the Chaos Communication Congress. He is one of CCC's spokesmen and member of the CCC e.V.'s board for the coordination of local groups.

For improving his technical skills, Pylon is a developer for the PowerPC-platform in the Gentoo Linux project. There he creates the Release-media for this architecture and is maintainer for the CVS- and Subversion-Server.

In the Real Life he currently finishes his Diploma in Mechatronics at the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences in Krefeld and Fontys Hogeschool in Venlo (NL).
