I am a multimedia artist, translator and currently writing about international protest movements and human rights abuses for Revolution News.

I am a multimedia artist with a BA in Integrative Media. I had plans to work as a graphic designer after graduation but somehow ended up blogging about international protest movements and human rights abuses for Revolution News. It's not entirely out of my field. I am proud and grateful to be able to contribute to independent media, even if in a small capacity.

I lived in Argentina in the 90's and speak fluent Spanish for 20+ years so I focus on translating news about issues in Latin America that don't get enough global media attention. We are a small team at Rev News - we all sort of fill in where needed so sometimes I write about other places and things too.

I've been blogging about the forced disappearance of 43 students from Ayotzinapa (Mexico) since autumn 2014 - and the many protests that occurred after the normalista students went missing. Throughout the course of reporting on the Ayotzinapa case, I've run into seas of bots in Mexican twitter that have confounded me.

So I started reporting on the bots along with the Ayotzinapa protests and that's basically how I got here.
