Version 2.01 no time to cry
Speaker: Dan Hagon
This will be my second Chaos Communication Camp. After I attended at the 2011 camp, I was inspired by the new world that was opened up to me to take up hardware full-time after working in software for many years.
My background is in Computer Science which I studied at Cambridge University, where Eben Upton was my Director of Studies. After leaving University, I got heavily involved with the Open Science movement, including co-organizing a science-themed unconference in Cambridge called SciBarCamb. My only real claim to fame as a „cryptanalyst“ was to be the 44th person to crack the code embedded in the first synthetic genome, (cf. http://dx.doi.org/10.1126/science.1151721 ) using the awesome power of regular expressions.
