Music Technologist and Multimedia Generalist. I'm a Maker working on hard and software and especially the mappings in between. I am designing novel musical instruments and music accessories.
Julian Vogels is a Music Technologist and Multimedia Generalist. He studied Multimedia at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences and holds a Master of Arts degree in Music Technology from McGill University Montréal.
He is a passionate designer of gestural controllers for new kinds of musical expression and conceptualizes interactive installations to encourage inter-human interaction and critical thinking about evolving technology.
Julian just finished his Master thesis about the gestural performance repertoire of expert harmonica players and its applications to digital musical instrument design.
