Joscha Bach studied computer science and philosophy in Berlin and New Zealand before embarking into Artificial Intelligence. He obtained his PhD in 2008 from the Institute of Cognitive Science in Osnabrück, founded IT companies, worked as research scientist at HU Berlin, Harvard, MIT and as principal research engineer at Intel Labs, and is now an Al researcher at LiquidAI. He is the author of the cognitive architecture MicroPsi; his main interests involve Artificial General Intelligence, and computational models of cognition, motivation and consciousness.
