Felix Stalder is Professor at the Department Fine Arts, Zurich University of the Arts, where he leads the artistic research project "Latent Spaces. Performing Ambiguous Data".

Felix Stalder is Professor at the Department Fine Arts, Zurich University of the Arts, where he leads the artistic research project "Latent Spaces. Performing Ambiguous Data". His work focusses on the intersection of technological, political, and cultural dynamics, in fields such as techno-culture, commons, subjectivity, datafication, artificial intelligence, and more-than-human relations. Besides doing research, he also works as a cultural producer with groups such as Technopolitics, World Information Institute and nettime, creating maps ("Infrastructure of a Migratory Bird, 2022-3, with Vladan Joler and Gordan Savicic), videos (Civilization, Technology and Consciousness – Peter Lamborn Wilson / Hakim Bey, 58 min, 2022, with Konrad Becker) and autonomous infrastructures (Mastodon Instance of nettime, since Okt. 2022). From 1998-2023 he was a moderator of nettime, an international mailing list for critical net.culture. Sinece 2022, he co-moderares a Mastodon instance (tldr.nettime.org). Among his most recent book publications are "From Commons to NFTs" (co-editor, Aksioma, 2022), "Digital Unconscious" (co-editor, Autonomedia, 2022), "Aesthetics of the Commons" (co-editor, Diaphanes, 2021) and "Digital Condition" (Politiy Press, 2018).
