Speaker: Stefanie Todt

PhD student at the ATLAS experiment
I’m a PhD student at the technical university of Dresden working as a member of the ATLAS collaboration at CERN. I have been involved in particle physics research since 6 years now. My everyday work includes programming of HEP software tailored to particle physics data analysis and presenting the results to experts as well as interested folks in the community. I feel that as a researcher one has a great responsibility to reach out and let people know what the field I am working in is about and share the excitement for it.
Besides physics my interests are any kinds of (outdoor) sports and traveling.
