Martin Ling
Electronic engineer and glider pilot.
Currently I am a research associate in the School of Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, developing wireless sensor devices for motion capture and other applications.
I've been gliding since 2001, and qualified as a BGA Basic Instructor in 2007. My talk, "Flying for free", draws on this experience.
