Frederik Ramm

After finishing his studies at Karlsruhe University, Frederik joined an American IT consultancy. Fed up with that lifestyle after a while, he went freelancing for an online casino in the Caribbean, later tried working from a cottage in the Scottish Highlands, and is now in the process of setting up a small geodata related company in Karlsruhe, Germany. He has been with OpenStreetMap since 2006 and has helped complete the Karlsruhe mapping. His major software contributions to OSM are proper coastline rendering, many features & plugins for the widely used JOSM, and recently the addition of complex relationships to the OSM data model. Frederik is also the Co-Author of an upcoming German language book about OSM.
